    Do you need to wear something underneath it or can it be against the skin (like in the summer) without sweating to death?

    We do recommend that an undershirt or thin t-shirt be worn underneath just to keep you comfortable, but, it is not necessary.

    It is made of durable, lightweight, breathable, flexible, moisture-wicking elastic cotton blend fabric. It doesn't contain any metal rods. Moreover, It also consists on hook & loop for fastening.

    Will wearing this belt keep you from having surgery?

    No. The belt will only help with temporary symptoms. The decision on surgery must be between you and your medical team. It may allow you to delay surgery, but hernias don't heal without surgery.
